My grandfather's gasboat, Belle, registered, I believe, in Juneau, had a 60 hp Buffalo. My father told me it was considered "big power" in SE Alaska at the time. Doug |

I have a 35 H.P. Lathrop engine in my boat.I love that picture, Rich. We might get there faster nowadays, but I would prefer the tug "Vixen" any day. I guess that I am a little prejstie because my boat looks like a small version of the tug pictured here. Brand Cedrone |
