Hi Folks I have a chance to trade for a Detroit Standard transmission and I'm wondering if anyone has one in a boat or has any had experience with one? Does it have a good solid neutral?} |

Another Michigan gearbox. This is, I think, a Michigan Model C Does anyone have one as mine is missing some parts and I want to restore it. Some pictures or literature would be most welcome. Thanks very much.

Does anyone have a Detroit Gear #2 or #3 they would sell? N0. 2 has a shaft size of 1-1/4 and NO. 3 is 1-1/2. Looking for one to put in a boat. Keith |

Keith - the gearbox I posted above needs a spur gear to make the planetary complete. That's a very easy gear to make or have made. Would it do for your purposes? Bob |
