The Solo engines were manufactured by AB Bröderna Skoog at Borlänge, Sweden. The company existed between 1908 and 1967. These engines, especially the latter H series, were considered by many as the most rugged and reliable Swedish petrol motors, even surpassing Albin and Penta in that respect. I enclose a picture of a two-cylinder Solo H-82. Spare parts can still be obtained at Göta-Motorer at Osby, Sweden. <http://www.gotamotor.se/solo.htm>
