Hello all.
I have recently purchased a Western Launch and Engine Company, 2 1/2 HP engine. This engine was built in Mishawaka, Indiana prior to 1905.
It has a carburetor / vaporizer that has Heigter cast on it's side.
I am in need of a cork float for this carb and would appreciate any information anyone might have about this.

Chip, Take a look at theduckblind.com They sell high density cork in blocks cut to order. You might try experimenting with thier acrylic sealer also-just a thought. |

Here are some pictures of the 2 1/2 HP Western Launch and Engine Company motor that I just bought.
It has a Heitger carb.
I will be taking better pictures of it soon.
This is the engine that would have been installed in my 1904 Western Launch!

There is a drilled and tapped hole in the upper section of the swing arm timer for my Western engine.
Is there supposed to be a kill button of some sort there?
Are they available?
Can anyone send me a schematic for how this engine should be wired?
