Hi all
Just came across this board. Great.
We have a 3 cylinder Ailsa Craig in a 32' Norman Wright Bay Sailer. Have rebuilt the engine, poured new white metal bearings, turned new cast iron cylinder wet liners, made new cast iron rings, adapted o'rings from Cat, etc. Have had boat for 20 yrs now. "Esna". Half gallon an hour at 7/8 knots at 800 rpm. Engine is rated at 30hp at 1200 rpm. Repainting boat inside and out now.
