got a bit of a problem or have i my bmc engine wont fire water out of exsaust till about 5 minutes till the thermostat opens is this ok or do i have a problem ive checked for blockages but cant find any help would be great the thermostat is a 82 |

vitty,even with a raw water cooled engine,you should still have water going through the exhaust.Otherwise your going to burn a hole or otherwise compomise your exhaust system.See if you can find a schematic of your cooling system in your engine manufacturers manual.
