Steve, I don't know what it is... maybe you can give us some more information, like where is "International Falls". The boat has a Scandinavian look to it... the stem, the curved transom, and the bright finish hull. It also seems to be built "low", possibly for canal use. What engine is in it? Regards, Andrew |

There is an International Falls in Minnesota, often mentioned in winter weather reports, because it is often the coldest city in the lower 48. And, I am sure plenty of Swede's up there, too. http://www.ci.international-falls.mn.us/ |

Yes, International Falls, MN. I have a picture with the registration number; are boat registrations public information? |

This resembles Skandanavian designs-see woodenboat magazine issue #170,page83 sailing boat hull. Skandanavians are longtime residents of Mn. I fell for a very simular hull here in NY last fall but too late to rescue it from the owners committment of turning it into a land based pirate ship for his children. The transom curved so far around to the stern post, it ended nearly perpendicular to the center line for and aft. It would have made the most fantastic small steam boat. Find a friendly officer and request a registration check for the owner. |
