Have just found an old Australian (I think) inboard motor and need to identify it and will probably want parts to restore it. Can anyone help? |

That's an easy one, as only one manufacturer used a detachable water jacket of that shape. It is a Penguin, made by Chapman(PW) Engineering P/L, Redfern, NSW, and dates from about 1947. It would be either 7 or 8 hp. The latest advertisement I have found was is 1959. I do not have any ideas about spare parts apart from advertising for them. Eric |
