I have a ZR2 ser# 2681529 does anyone know when built and maybe some history. I have a mag but would like to come up with a timer if anyone knows where to find one |

It is a 1929 the last 2 digits of the S/N tell that.
You can do a search for Palmer and Palmer ZR on this discussion board using the search above. You will get many hits to your search. There are manuals for sale here as well.

A couple of points to remember. The ZR-2 rotates counter clockwise facing the flywheel. The timer for a 2 cylinder four stroke engine with the cranks at 180 degrees fires at 90 degrees. I probably can find a useable Cuno timer. Send me an e-mail. |

I am quite sure I have a 4 cylinder timer that would work. Just use 2 of the contacts. If Dick doesn't have one I will make sure I still have this one.
