Thank you very much Miro. I hope the check doesn't bounce when you get it. There is no money in free advice!!!. I just finally figured out that rather than running off copies and mailing them this made more sense after Bill kicked me in the butt to get with it. Not the brightest in my age goup but then who is!! Regards Dick |

han anyone ever heard of an outboard motor made by firestone in the early 1950's? If so how can I find information regarding them? |

M.R.M., This board is for inboard engines... but... Firestone motors were oringinally made by Scott-Atwater. The first motors with the Firestone label came out in 1946. In the late 50's they contracted with West Bend to make motors for them. Production ended in the early 1960's. This basic info is from Peter Hunn's book The Old Outboard Book. Regards, Andrew |
