Thanks go out to J.B. and Jamie for having a real nice engine show in Donaldsonville. The "BAYOU BOYS" showed up and ran a nice selection of "TRAILER CLASS" marine engines, after having a real nice lunch at J.B.'s shop. It doesen't get any better!

You are welcome David, we're warming up for our spring kickoff at my camp, March 22 this year. All are invited, let me know if you plan to attend.

Yea but come our one day of summer we can walk in the woods and swim where we want without worrin bout gators and snakes
Snow is a lot less of an issue this year as my snow plow has heat and a cab. Just wish I didn't have to use it as much as I have so far. It weighs about 6000 lb and is rated to tow 90 tons.
As Found yup those are briars

Ready for snow

That is a neat old snow plow, reminds me of an old (1940's)airport tug I discovered abandoned in a fallen over shed with 8ft weeds around it at the end of an airport, looked like a chrysler flat head 6 and probably weighed about 5000 lb or so, really wanted to get it and get it running again but no place to keep it or really any use for it but it could probably pull a house around if needed ??

That is what it is. Chrysler IND 30 6 cylinder The rear fenders weigh 915 lb each. Everything about it is weight. It is easy to move an airplane, but you need mass to stop it once you have it moving.
This one is a 1942 and was shipped to Indianopolis when new. How it got to Mass is anyone guess.
I have another one if you really want one.

I've actually driven one of those things. We called it The Tugger. It was at an old NIKE Missile site in Minnesota. Good solid engine. Ours didn't have the enclosed cab, but it was fast for its size. A real sleeper.

Sorry, I was having so much fun, I forgot to take pictures. I ran a couple of engines-one recently purchased and one completed restoration. Jamie ran a group of L.A. and Nadlers similar to mine. J.B. then pulled out most of his old show winners to tie Jamie for 1st place in the slow rpm contest. I settled for second. I can hardly wait till spring when we all ''SHOVE OFF' at Belle River.
