John,
I have the same engine. It is a 3hp that I believe was introduced in 1922.I have a Motorboat magazine from 1927 that shows it still in the lineup.I am trying to locate an operating manual and original magneto.

The magneto on this one is a Bosch. If i cant find the other parts for this one, i will have it for sale or trade. Engine is stuck, but i have the magneto put up on a shelf and it does spin, but no spark. Probably needs cleaned.

John, I have 2 examples of the single cylinder Model 3-4 (ser. #s 1999 & 22007). I also have the owners "Instruction Book" & specs. My info shows introduction in '22 and production at least thru '27. I don't have catalogs for '28 or '29 but it is absent from my '30 catalog. The Manual & catalogs specify Mayer carbs and Bosch mags. Both of my engines are equipped with Mayer carbs & MC 56 JL mags. Let me know if you still have the engine/parts.
