Here is a new old stock Maxim Silencer. The Maxim Silencer Company is still in business making silencers for various applications including internal combustion engine exhaust.

Curiosity aroused, I did a little googling and found that the Maxim Silencer, originally made fore firearms of course, was designed by Hiram Maxim's son in the hope of saving his father's hearing! Apparently it was too late! I have one like that slowing splitting apart in the garage...:-( |
