I heard that the old DisPro Boat Works property at the locks in Port Carling (Ontario) is about to be redeveloped once again.

Got me to thinking...does anyone have any old photos of the site when it was in operation that they would like to share?

I expect that the Muskoka Lakes Museum probably have some of the material.
THe Grace and Speed Museum is still too young to have material like that.
The re-development consists of blasting away chunks of the Canadian Shield to make room for condos.
At least there will be work in the winter for the boys who live there year round.
If you recall from the Dreamboats of Muskoka video, that was a big part of the success in Port Carling.
That video has some stills of the original factory.

Thanks for the suggestions Miro.
I think you're probably right about the Grace and Speed Museum.
