We have just bought a Charnwood 20 boat fitted with a P66D engine No 22B050 10HP. We have just enjoyed our first weekend and we struck up conversations with lots of boaters who recognised the engine sound and knew about the Stuart Turner. As I had never heard of the engine before(total novice and no mechanic!) it made me curious as to the history of it. So any info and maintenance tips would be much appreciated!! Also any history of the Charnwood 20 would be of interest too. The engine sounded very sweet!! |

looks like you have a good engine it was supplied to W.Wright 14/11/1969 so is 37 years old the records show it has never had a major overhaul either by us or Staurt turner if you need any manuals please let me know we do have parts and repair books available David fairwaysmarine.com |

Thanks for info! We have been contacted by the wife of one of the Wright brothers so have found out quite a bit about our boat so it's good to know a bit about the engine. We have a small manual which doesn't cover everything (it's just a photocopy) so can you let us know what books you have etc. Thanks. Oh, by the way, the engine is in good nick! |
