Interesting engine, it looks to be a 2 stroke with intake valves. I thought Van Blerck only built T head type 4 strokes. TR |

I can see it now, thanks for the clarification. The intake manifold looks to be very low on the cylinder for a 4 stroke, which led to my confusion. TR |

Here are some pictures of a Van Blerk I took a couple of years ago. The engine is installed in a 30 ft Ditchburn . It starts with a growl and then becomes a purr when the water fills the exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe is about 15 ft long. miro
