Greetings, Anyone out there with Hall-Scott Defenders?? How is your intake manifold? Tired, rusted, fractured or rotted? Lets get those 5000lb V-12 gas hulks running! After all, 2,182 cubic inches and 650 HP can't be all bad. I am starting the drawing phase of making (weld / fabricate) a replacement intake to sit on existing runners. I need two manifolds for my Defenders. If I am going to make 2, more should not be a problem. I am also contemplating making a dual Holley 4 barrel down draft manifold version. This is actually easier than the stock 3 Zenith updraft manifold and will give better performance and fuel economy. Just a thought. This is not a project I will get to this year, but starting the process none the less. Cheers, Lew "The West coast Sterling Guy" |

Hi V-12 Hall- Scott. Can anyone tell me how much you should prime a V-12 Scott to start it? And do they flood easy? We are going to try to start mine this sunday. It hasent been ran since it was rebuilt in 1957. |
