Hi Guys,
As the name suggests I'm a virgin to restoring old engines. Somehow strangely enough I have bought three, of late. The Vinco attached. A Penguin from one of the members and a Blaxland Twin- a box 'a' bits- so to speak.
I've read through the posts and have an idea where to start- pull it apart- carefully. It's seized although the bolts all seem loose. More ominous is the rust blow out in the water jacket.
Anyway I'll keep you posted and in the meantime if anyone can point me in the direction of a carbie and magneto I'd be most appreciative.
Hopefully we can get this ol' girl back on the water, where she belongs.
