Pics of the start of a Palmer ZR1 restoration. Note the hole in the head. I will make a piece to fit and epoxy it in. The end result should be just about impossible to see.

Here are some more pics of the ZR project. The final engine will have major parts from at least 3 donor engines.
I will post my head and block repair in another seperate post.

Here are 2 pics of the head with new piece fit and ready for epoxy. Note the rough ground edges. Epoxy bonds much better to a clean rough surface.

Here is the head with a completed repair. I most likely will not use any putty to hide it. It has been repaired and any future owner needs to know that.
