So where was this big old Acadia used as a mooring? It appears to be a 5hp or bigger. Looks like you can get a check valve out of it.

I took a little canoe motor to an engine show once that was in really bad shape.... maybe not quite as bad a Miro's, but close. I put a little sign in front of it saying "Wanted, marine engines - any condition". You wouldn't believe how many people stopped to look at that rusty motor. I guess rust has a certain appeal!
