Can anyone give me any information about the Transmission Fluid Levels for a Twin Disk on a Palmer M-60 engine? |

The typical reverse gear on the M-60 AKA P-60 is a Parogon OXKB. It uses SAE 30 weight non detergent motor oil and should be about one inch below the aft end of the shaft. You have to remove the cover to check the level by removing 6 cap screws. The oil in the engine is the same but there is no connection for the oil in the engine to enter the reverse gear. |
