My late friend, and long time neighbor, was a consummate collector and restorer of all things mechanical. I have been asked by his wife to assist in finding good homes for a number of items in his collection. I would like to know what interest there may be and what a fair market value might be should she decide to sell or donate this unique piece to an appreciative individual, museum, or vintage marine group. Details are shown below: Complete Hall-Scott Airplane Engine Converted for Marine Use with "The Capitol" Gearbox and Drive by Auto Engine Works of St. Paul MN Engine Type: Hall-Scott A-7-A Mfg No: 698 Acceptance No: SC 2528 Rotation: RH Rated: 100 HP @ 1450 RPM Bore: 5-1/4 Stroke: 7 Please email with questions. Additional Photos available! Offers Welcome! /image{HS01.jpg} |
