I do have a 1957 Graymarine technical manual 5th edition from gray marine motor company. 327 cu.in. and 250 cu.in. models. a Quote from page 3 They are built exclusively for marine works by gray marine motor company, subsidiary of Continental motors corporation. I hope this will be helpfull I do have the 250 Fireball V8 rated at 170 Hp with aft flywheel. The 250 with Foward flywheel is rated at 178 HP they all so built a 160 hp 135 hp 138 hp. The 327 cu.in. was rated at 238 hp 225 hp 215 hp and 188 hp with fly wheel aft. With the fly wheel foward, The hp was rated the same as with the Fly wheel Foward or V8C. |
