Hi, I just ran across this site & can't believe how much info there is on it. My dad & I have a couple marine engines that we could never identify (no names, #'s on them or anything) & if anyone knew what makes they were that'd be great. The twin cylinder engine needs another carb. & the big verticle engine has been modified & is missing a valve chamber on the side that lets the crankcase charge in on top the cylinder. The last pic is a pumping marine?-engine
twin cylinder
unknown verticle
unknown pump marine

Welcome aboard Nick. The two cylinder engine is unique with an external transfer port that incorporates the carbs. Interesting to see if Richard D. can find something on your engines.

Nick

1. The twin engine is very old turn of the century most likely- not sure its a marine engine- still looking for info !

2.Would like photos of opposite side and front of flywheel-- upper cyl looks like Stanley but it would be the oldest one I've ever seen, mounting flange on bottom and cylinder separate from crankcase, skip link sprocket water/pump drive also very old engine probably pre 1905 ??

3. Maybe Watertown ?? would like to see photos of opposite side, timer behind flywheel and waterpump at aft end ?
