I have a Flat Head model #616, for anyone who wants it. It was in running condition when I switched my boat over to diesel. The motor & transmission has been stored undercover since it was removed. I'm located in Toronto Canada. It hate to scrap it if someone wants it. |

Hi Dan, What size is your 6 cyl? I am looking for a Continental F226 L-head 6 cyl and I understand the Gray Marine engines were based on Continental blocks. Regards, Dave |

Does anyone know the horse power of a model 671? Is it 100? Looking for an engine for a 1955 Lyman 18 foot runabout. Am told that a 109 HP will also fit. |

Have you tried tried the Lyman Boat Club based in Ohio to see what the engine options were in '55 for the 18'model? If the engine stingers look like they once had a six cylinder- I'd expect it was a Model 100 Graymarine. |

From memory MANY years ago the 18 was called an Islander. The Islanders I remember had little 4 cylinder Grays. |
