Dear reader,
My name is Jacques van Harten and I am writing a book about Kromhout engines (made in Holland from about 1900). The book comes out august 2007
Kromhout started in the beginning of 1900 with copying the Mianus engine !
I should be very pleased with a high resolution picture from the Early advertising flyer for a Mianus engine, probably 1899 to 1905.
If there are good pictures/photographs from the engine itself....it should be EXCELLENT.

There are some early Mianus photos on this web site accessible through the SEARCH option at the top of this page,I'll bring it up on a post I think was titled Brown and Talbot- Mianus, we posted 1902-04 and 1906 Mianus images.
I am away from home for 4-5 days on my return I will email high resoluton to you and post what I send on here also!
