Threads are UNF, so could be made in USA, though found in Australia. Carby, of course, not original. There does not seem to be provision for a water pump. The base is certainly marine-type. A governor looks to have been fitted at a later date. Any suggestions gratefully accepted. |

Thanks William. No pictures exactly the same, but it has to be a Gray. |

Resembles a US Motors Falcon 5hp at this distance. Probably the same thing(?) |

The US Falcon and Gray were mirror images, evrything exact opposite. |

Thanks for all the feed-back, that's great. It took me quite a while to get the photo to the size needed for uploading. I kept cutting and cutting until I got it down to the 100MB asked for. The result, a postage stamp size photo. Now, I must be doing something wrong, as I see much larger and higher definition photos posted. I have a Mac. Is there a compatibility problem? Any suggestions? |

At the Calvert show, http://www.oldmarineengine.com/discus/messages/3428/6754.html there were a couple of US Falcons, I think it's the 9th picture down, a couple of pictures later you can see the back of John Smietana's engine, these are reversed from yours., I think yours is a Gray, didn't Bridgeport sell the same engine? |

J.B. I have seen a 1 cylinder Falcon with the Bridgeport tag and it is identical to the Falcon |

Thanks Bill, this is what I was trying for but cut the size too much rather than using a low resolution. Had a bit of a technical problem, so slow in replying. Eric |
