Don't know where to start. I'll start here. My wife's grandfather was on of the Barber brothers that started Barber Engine in Syracuse, NY in the late 1800's. I like to learn more about them. I actually just got a call that one, I believe a single cylinder, is available to me. I'd like to get it. Are there any good references on this company? Are these motors valuable? As I said I'm just getting started. Thanks Walt |

Walter, Welcome! You should start by using the "search" link above and search this board for the word barber. You will find there are quite a lot of posts and pictures of barber engines. |

I mailed Walt Photo-copies of Barber engine catalogs-his wife's relative was Franklin Barber. It's pretty cool to hear from decendents of these company founders we cherish in our hobby. |
