PatMc: Watertown Motor Company hails from Watertown N.Y. Contact librarian Pheobe Tritton at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton N.Y.I think the Watertown newspaper did a write up on the company some time ago.Enter Antique Boat Museum on the web. |

Pat Mc; Harry Buck reminded me that the Watertown Engine company became the Gillespe-Boynton engine Company in Newburgh New York-sorry;don't have the date. This fact taken from a G-B engine tag in Harry's collection April 2001 at Calvert Museum Antique Marine Engine meet. |

I have a friend who has rebuilt a few Watertown engines. He is located in Alex Bay but is currently in Florida restoring an engine. French Creek Marina (frenchcreekmarina.com) is my family's bussiness, in the winter I teach in Watertown. If you are still in need of information on this engine I'll pass your e-mail on to a contact. You may reply to me at [email protected] Good Luck! Heinz |
