Sunday i managed to run my main gas tank dry way out in the potomac river. I figured this is no problem i'll just hook up my spare 6 gal tank. When i started pumping the hand bulb nothing would come out of the tank, the gas had gelled closed the screen in the bottem. The tank was half full of old black gas with a coating of scumm all around. There was no one around so the only thing i could do was pour the old gas into the battery cover and strain it with my shirt as i poured it into the first tank. A little chokeing and that engine started right up. I left a trail of smoke all the way home, but made it. |

Good thinking Larry most folks would spend the night scratching mosquitoes and wondering what do we do now. |
