i have recently purchased a 1910 fan tail launch ( an old boat)with what is supposed to be a 1912 wright in it. it definitely looks identical to the one listed on this web site. anyone able to give me any help on getting it running . is supposed to run like a top but am unfamiliar with the controls . please email me if you want to give a hand. thanks tom email address is [email protected] |

Tom, Sounds like a interesting boat and engine. How about posting a picture here or email me it to me and I will post it. There are a number of "wright" engines and I believe there are numerous photos on this site of "wright" engines. Which one are you refering to? If you have never run an old inboard you should probably get the Palmer Gas Engine Handbook (even if you don't have a palmer it is a good handbook for this type of engine) |
