Scott, I have still have some Aqua Boy parts and a working 1968 model outbord motor using the "Tiger" industrial version of the Victa 125cc lawnmower engine which was marketed by Ridge / Swell boats in Marricville Sydney. You could also buy the leg by mail order, often advertised on the backs of magazines. This is the normal propeller version, not the later "Victa Jet" which used an impeller in a cast aluminium housing on the bottom of the shaft, made a lot of noise but not much speed. |

Hi Scott, I have some Waterboy parts (tank/top cowling), and a working 1968 model Victa powered outboard motor marketed here in Sydney by Swell/Rydge boats at Maricville. You could also get the leg by mail order from the back of strange magazines. I have added the Waterboy bottom cowling with extra plates to the Victa to give better splash protection to the cast iron cylinder. Unlike the Waterboy underwater exhaust, the Victa just uses the tobacco tin or torpedo muffler so it is a bit noisy to use much now. the Waterways Authority seem to know where I am!!! The last Waterboy I saw was in Knock & Kirby's George Street hardware store in about 1970 having been traded in on a new OMC unit. Tbey tried to sell it to me for my Sea Scout troop but I got a Blaxland twin inboard instead for the boat. We also had a couple of Victa 125's rigged up as inboards in dinghies and I have also seen them on the end of old Johenson 4/5 hp legs. |

Scott, I aso have some Waterboy parts, Upper cowl and fuel tank and a working 1968 model Victa 125cc powered outboard which was marketed here in Sydney by Rydge/Swell boats in the late 60's. You could also buy the leg by mail order. I have added the Waterboy lower cowling with extra plates to keep splashes off the cast iron cylinder. As it has just the traditional mower exhaust the Waterways Authority now take a dim view of me using it! The last Waterboy I saw was in Knock & Kirby's George Street Sydney store in about 1972. I have also used Vista 125's as inboards in small dinghies and seen them on old OMC 4/5 HP legs - rough but CHEAP. regards. Boyd. |

Steve, This site is really for old inboards, not outboards... but Chrysler model 559HF is a 55HP from 1973. We have manuals for it on the MarineEngine.com site if you need them. |
