Hi all, stumbled across this site and thought it was the place to get some input. I have a Red Wing Thorobred 10 hp serial # 2123D in running condition. It was in a boat that my family had years back, the boat is long gone but the R.W. remains(it may have been in a Lyman or Thompson). It was in pretty poor condition when dad and I first started working on her. I started the rebuild in H.S. auto shop and my old man finished up over the following years. The original intent was to fix for my uncles 32' Thompson resto project, but he decided to go with a modern diesel instead. It has most of the original pieces, Dad did have to replace some things as I recall. At this point Dad is tired of tripping over it in the garage(for last 15 years) and alas I don't really have a legitimate use for it. So... if someone out there has info on this engine I would appreciate it. Likewise if someone is interested in acquiring it for their collection or boat project or knows another who has a use for it I can post some pictures and try to get more (accurate) background on it's history. Nice site! Good info here. Thanks, Wil |

I am sure collectors would be interested in that engine (if it isn't gone already). You could post pictures of it here and you could also post it for sale in our classifieds. |
