williamjchampion in a previous post mentioned his distributor spark advance springs were shot and that replacement fixed the problem he had with stalling under load. My springs are shot and I am looking for replacement. Does anyone have a source for the springs for a Prestolite 1AY-4010?
I have "Googled", "Dogpiled", and "Yahooed" without any success.

Auto speed shops used to carry spring kits for customizing advance curves, I haven't visited a speed shop in a while and most advancing is done by the computer now, but you may find soemthing that will work. |

There are some parts here, but there doesn't appear to be springs... |

The springs are available from OBSOLETE PARTS & EQUIPMENT CO. (513)731-4134 . Part no. P50-224 and the cost was $7.50 per set. I recentlly purchased a set for my engine. |

Thanks for all the advise. I was able to get a set from another Columbia 28 owner that had a spare set. |
