Mae Gebhardt Motor Company 27th and Daulphin, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My limited info is dated 1910 and says that this company would furnish complete sets of castings and blueprints but they didn't seem to offer a complete engine ? Would very much like to a photo of your engine and its name plate if possible ? If trouble posting photos here email to me I'll post them. [email protected] |

Richard, Mae has mailed me a photo that I will scan and post here later today. It's a nice looking 2 cycle single cylinder engine. |

I hav ewhat looks to a two cylinder inboard marine engine. There are two spark plugs and a 4 cylinder distrutor with two pl;ug wire locations blocked off. It has a reverse gear and starater and generator. The name plate says United States Marine Engine Company,Oskoosh, Wisconsin. Does anyone know anything about this engine or company? Thankyou. Mick |

* Mick This Company was Formed in 1927 to take over Universal Products Co., Bull-Dog & Doman. Tradename of their engines was "Falcon" 1928 Would like to see a few photos of your engine --I believe it will be the Doman ! By 1929 they did not advertise 2 cyl engs ! * |

Just tested it out, you need to resize pic to under 60kbytes, try out in the testing section, using upload attachment button. |
