It sure looks like an engine that was restored by a friend in CT a few years back. I have pics somewhere. It is a no name and has no markings. The person that restored it did a good job, however the intake and cooling are not origional. The person that restored it has passed away. :-( So we can't ask him. I looked long and hard for info back then when he was restoring it. Didn't find anything. I would be interested in what anyone else can come up with now that we have the "net"

Ernie,

Wasn't that engine at Mystic Seaport the second year of the show? I remember the modified cooling tanks. I have the same engine... but not in as good condition, and it does not have any nameplate or markings either.

Yup your right. I do remember it and it did not run well at all! I fooled with it for quite a while and decided it was to stubborn to continue messing with.
