Can anyone help me find a head for a Palmer 60 that is in good condition? I'll even purchase a frozen engine in its entirety just to get the head and perhaps the heat exchanger.

Just go to any junk tractor dealer and buy a used head from a IHC CUB Lo-Boy C-60 engine. It is the same engine. If you want a new head go to Valu-Bilt tractor Parts and buy a new one for $198.69 plus shipping. Their telephone number is 888-829-3276. or e-mail www.valu-bilt.com. Is your engine used in salt or fresh water? If fresh water cooled buy the IHC tractor head gasket. If salt water cooled you will need to have a compressable copper head gasket made as the tractor gasket will not work with salt water. Have no idea where to find a heat exchanger. Sorry. |
