The more the better. Its a great place to camp. The evening meal $7.00 Sat is excellent and the free Breakfast Sunday morning in the boat shop is outstanding. I plan to host anybody that wants to visit my shop which is about 1/2 hour away on Sat. about 3 . Don't want to make it too late other wise we might miss the evening meal. Visitors to my place are also welcome Sunday afternoon and Monday before they start the long journey home. You won't find a more dedicated bunch of antique marine engine, outboard and classic hull nuts than at CMM. We don't have any rules we figure adults know how to behave in public and and its just good fun with very interesting people. Swapping, trading, selling, buying is encouraged. Some put up tents, some have trailers and some sleep in their pickup trucks and for the less hardy souls there are plenty of motels within about a ten mile radius.
During the night we have a police guard on the site and we never have had any problems in that regard. Excessive drinking will result in fifty lashes in the public square and permanent banishment from the scene. We have never had any problems like that so come and enjoy with us. Bring all those excess parts that you want to trade, sell, match you name it. We very much enjoy our Canadian friends who make that long journey and bring very intersting engines that we don't often see in these parts. |
