I have a Volvo MD1 with a slight air leak in the fuel system somewhere. I have checked and re-checked every fitting, replaced gaskets and tightened as much as I dare. After bleeding the fuel line it runs fine. Then 6-8 hours later, it won't start unless I bleed it again. Any suggestions on how to spot the leak and/or seal it? Thanks |

Glowell, Is the fuel tank below the engine? If it is you should install an in-line check valve. Also make sure the return fuel line returns to the bottom of the tank, if used. Do you use an electric or mechanical fuel supply? You can call me if you want at 860-767-7351. Gil |

Glowell, next time you run it, go as long as you can then as soon as you shut down, open the fuel tank filler, if there is a hiss or any suction in the tank then the tank vent is choked, I suppose there is a vent?? You could try running it with the filler loose in the threads too. |
