I am going to look at an antique volvo marine engine, but the owner doesn't know exactly what it is. He told me over the phone that he thinks the model number is either a YS34, or a Y3S4, but couldn't elaborate, as he did not have the engine with him at the time. Just wondering if anyone has any general info on older volvo engines. He said he thinks this one might be from the thirties or forties. |

Joe,
Is it gas or diesel?
We have manuals for some of the older Volvo Penta engines. There are also "Penta" engines from that period.
Ask him to check the nameplate on the engine and get the exact model number as listed. |
