I have a Scripps 205 in the shop for restoration. I'm working with Bob Henkel on parts, but have been unable to find a shop manual. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find one? Specifically looking for torque settings, etc. The engine is a beautiful piece machinery , low hours (but many years) on a rebuild. Lower end is great. Upper end has cracked heads, pitted pistons and a lot of careless damage to accessories and fittings. Had a faked 1940 208 model tag attached. Hope to have it as good as new soon. |

Looks like Henkel is able to supply almost everything needed for parts. Heads, pistons, gaskets, studs etc. Had to have a custom set of rings made by Hastings because standard size is no longer available. Still looking for the missing flywheel cover (left engine) and the manual though. On to cleaning, prepping for painting. |
