I need some help to idenify my latest find, its kind of cool in that the water pump is in the front of the engine and is driven off the flywheel.I will try to post some pictures. Thanks Iceboater |

I would say Roberts. Also may have been sold as a Mullins. |

Thanks Ernie I have another question,do you think the kingston carb could have came with the engine? I have only seen that type on old autos never saw any on marine engines. |

Brad,
The other engine like yours that is floating around the Boston, MA area has a Kingston on it. However cabs on these old engines were changed like most of us change pants.
Yours appears to be a marine Kingston since it is female pipe thread.
