Hello All,
Not really a very old engine here(20yrs), but cannot get the valve clearances anywhere this evening in a bit of a fluster while trying to get back in the water before high tide this afternoon.
Can anybody help with this one ?

Regards - Pat.

I can't find that engine in any of the truck or tractor service manuels i have. The majority of perkins engines have the valves set at 12 tho.both intake and ex.The next larger size above yours has the valves at 10tho.

Thanks Larry,
That's good enough for me at the moment. Can't go far wrong with either of these clearances. By the way it is a marine version i'm working on so that probably explains it not being listed in your manuals.

Regards - Pat.
