Does anyone know if these engines can still be imported? I read that they are banned by the EPA, and I also read that they are exempt for stationary use in agriculture. I have a friend with one powering his 28' fishing boat, and was considering using one myself. I don't want to pay the Indian exporter for it and not be able to receive it once it gets to the US.....thanks |

While I don't knwo a great deal about these motors yet, I did run across this site while researching. They may be a good resource to find out about the imports.

good copies but quality control leavs a lot to be desired anyone buying one must first consider stripping and refinishing and cleaning to get the long life boasted by these engines. |
