I had my Magnetos repaired some years ago by John Forrest. I am assuming that John would not be doing this now; he was in his late 80's early 90's when he repaired them 8 years ago. Any suggestions where I can take them?
I did have a reversing gearbox when I started working on my boat in 1980's. Lost it and now have a forward-only gearbox. Anyone know where I could find a reversing gearbox for the Chapman Seadog 10hp? |

Where abouts are you? I know of several contacts throught the Chrysler Restorers Club in SA and may be able to track down someone interstate through the club also. |

Also you can try contacting Duck Flat Wooden Boats http://www.duckflatwoodenboats.com/index.php for a reversing gearbox but expect to pay $$$ as they quoted me $400 for a clutch in good order. |
