I have a Scripps 4 clyinder and the points and coil and condenser and in great shape. but know the spark seems to jump from the - side to the terminal of the coil and the the spark jumps from the + side to the terminal of the coil. Any help would be great thanks

Sounds like you have a bad plug wire, if you have high resistance the spark will find another way out. If it's been doing this for a while it may have carbon tracked the coil, it will need to be replaced along with the boot. |
