Hello,
I've recently purchased a Kubota KD81 with the strangest reduction (1 1/3 : 1) in near perfect condition, but it lacks a manual or any technical information other than the information provided by the plate on the motor itself (8 HP @ 2200 RPM).
Before i mount it into it's new boat, shown on on of the pictures, i'd like to know a bit more of the engine and it's capacities.
Has anyone ever heard of or seen such an engine and knwos where i can gather more information about it? It's quite hard to find information, Kubota does not reply to my emails, not so nice of them.

I found this site while trying to identify a small diesel I recently aquired and I am looking through the posts and find this one with the pictures and there, much cleaner, is my engine
There is a local Kubota dealer and I will be out to see them in the next week. |
