I have a chance to buy a 2 cylinder Evenrude inboard engine. It is in very nice shape I have never seen one like this before , it has a distributer on it and evenrude embossed on the side. Can any one tell me anything about these engines and what a fair price for one would be. Thanks Bruce |

It would appear that the 2 cylinder block was used by a number of suppliers of engines. I have seen a WAJAX water pump engine that is identical to the Evinrude. I guess that Evinrude made them as an OEM for these suplers. They're not all that common and run quite fast for inboard marine engines. The exhaust piping is also a challenge sometimes, depending on the boat in which they are used. As for price, that's a tough one. It really is what the seller and buyer agree on. |
