ahoy out there- I'm new to the wonderful world of old marine diesels. We just looked at a cool little wooden boat BUT can we get parts for her 18?horsepower Thorneycroft one cylinder diesel if we buy her? the boat is c. 1950 and we presume same for engine (which runs fine now but I'm worried about the future...). thanks in advance for any sources anyone can help out with. |
