I'm buying a Coronao 35 and its engine has been removed, so I need to find one to put in. I think the original was a Palmer P-60, but I want to put in a diesel. I think Yanmar or Kubota are possibilities. Anyone know where one goes to find such an engine. I'm in the San Francisco area. Thanks! |

Those two engines are good choises. Yanmar is popular and an excellent engine but it's pricey. Kuboto is considerably less and a fine engine. Suzuki makes a diesel that I heard was a good value but I don't have experience with it. You should post on marineengine.com on the diesel section. |
